Bio & Medical Imaging Medical imaging is the driving force behind many of the new digital detector developments in radiography. Rad-icon's detectors are optimized for the 10 to 50 kV energy range, which is widely used in mammography and other soft-tissue imaging applications. Other scintillators can be used to improve the DQE for higher energies, opening up other applications such as bone densitometry, general radiography, as well as pharmaceutical and veterinary studies.
