Food & Agriculture Foreign objects in food items are a major concern in the food industry. From bones in fish or poultry, to pieces of glass in babyfood or nutshells in pecan icecream, x-ray inspection can help improve safety by routinely scanning these items. Another application is found in the screening of seeds and grains for quality. X-ray inspection can help identify bad seeds and assist in the laboratory analysis of grains, nuts and other agricultural products.
