Rad-icon Imaging Corp. designs and manufactures solid state imaging
detectors for the medical, industrial and instrumentation markets. Our specialty
is large area CMOS sensors for radiation imaging. We utilize the advantages
of CMOS photodiode arrays to develop detectors with improved resolution and
sensitivity for these applications. Rad-icon Imaging Corp. offers more than 50 years' combined experience in the development of solid state imaging detectors and their application to solving customers' problems. The company was founded in 1997 by Rad-icon's President, Gene Weckler, with the mission to explore new opportunities in medical x-ray imaging through the use of state-of-the-art CMOS technology. Since then, Rad-icon has developed and introduced its line of RadEye large-area high-resolution x-ray sensors, and the complementary lines of Shad-o-Box and Shad-o-Snap x-ray cameras. Our on-going product development efforts are focused on further improving and expanding these product lines, as well as developing new products for related areas of digital x-ray imaging. Rad-icon Imaging Corp. can provide assistance in specifying, designing, or developing a wide range of optoelectronics components, such as Infrared, Visible, UV and X-Ray Detectors, Particle Detectors, Position Sensitive Detectors, CCD Imagers, and Active or Passive Pixel CMOS Photodiode Arrays. We can also supply applications support for a variety of optoelectronics system topics, including Optical and Thermal Imaging, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Sensing, Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation, Spectroscopy and Vision Systems.
